Giving Back-NGO India 2013...
Giving Back - NGO India is the CSR initiative of UBM India. As part of its commitment to sustainable business, UBM globally, has developed an exciting initiative, UBM’s Community Engagement Series that aims to provide a platform for the sharing of knowledge, skills, experiences and good governance across the voluntary sector.
Giving Back - NGO India is a large scale exhibition supported by a high-content led conference designed to bring together NGOs in India to share best practices and engage with key stakeholders including local and international corporates, foundations, government and the general public. NGOs can exhibit at the event for free. The year 2013 will host the second edition of the event after the grand success of the launch event in 2012 at Gurgaon, NCR,India.
It will take place on the 14th and 15th June 2013 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon (E), Mumbai, India. This two-day event will have an exhibition and a co-located conference. Top Indian corporates and conference delegates are expected to be at the event over the span of two days to meet and interact with 150+NGOs. The second day of the event (15th June 2013) will be open to the general public who are interested in volunteering and supporting the exhibiting NGOs.

Run for Nirmaan at the World 10K on 19th May 2013 !
Nirmaan is excited to participate in the TCS World 10K Run which will be held in Bangalore on Sunday, the 19h of May, 2013. The run starts and ends at Kanteerava Stadium. Registration begins on Wednesday, the 21st of March on the TCS 10K Website. You can sign up for the 10k run or the 5.7K Majja Run (see the official website for the full list of categories).
How does Run for Nirmaan work ?
Nirmaan is a youth organization committed for the cause of nation building. Through its extensive research on solving the pressing problems of the country Nirmaan has come up with 2 target areas of poverty alleviation - education and economic empowerment. Nirmaan Organization believes in channelizing the power of youth to solve these problems.
Run for Nirmaan is a fundraiser for Nirmaan to further fuel the movement. Through this marathon both Individual donors and corporate donors can pledge donations to Nirmaan.
1. iCare Scheme - this scheme is for Individual donors who wish to pledge any amount to Nirmaan
2. Corporate Care scheme - this is for the corporate houses to pull off big social changes by donataing amount of the order of 1.50 lakhs and above
How will this help Nirmaan ?
Nirmaan has a robust presence in Hyderabad, Bangalore, Goa and Pilani. Nirmaan has also achieved overwhelming success in its big scale, high impact projects like Nirmaan Scholarship Programme, Educational Helpline and Vocational Training Center and School adoption Program in Hyderabad. Nirmaan now plans to implement these programmes in Bangalore, Goa and Pilani. Nirmaan also plans to scale up the small pilot projects like Siksha ki Ore, Siksha and Clean Zari to make it more impactful. Your donations will help Nirmaan do the social good it intends to do.
