The All Goa NGO Confluence 2012 is a platform for the exchange of ideas and experiences between different NGOs, diverse experts, and organizations working on sustainable societies. The event shall play host to more than 50 NGOs in Goa, students, professionals and CSR Cells of Companies.
The conference will feature speakers from NGOs doing exemplary work in their respective domains and panel discussions on their working policies. The conference will witness a forum where the NGOs can discuss their success stories and how they could combat the challenges faced by them and exchange successful project experiences and innovative practices. Such discussions will help the participating NGOs to identify loop holes in their strategies and give them an opportunity to discuss the challenges they face and come to the most plausible solution.

Dr. Anand Bang believes that his life in Gadchiroli since childhood and his work in SEARCH
have enabled him to identify the unmet health and social needs of people. He is very passionate
about social change and dreams
to contribute in improving the life of the poor and marginalized people of India.
With the aim of shaping himself as a knowldege activist to work with marginalized
communities to identify their health needs, and then develop community-based health care
models to meet those needs., he completed his MPH from John Hopkins School of Public Health in 2009.

Dr Girish Kulkarni's mission is to develop awareness & capability in those members of the society who have been deprived of their rights because of the inequality and exploitation. Snehalaya supports homeless destitute children in residential homes, provides shelter and vocational training to more than many women in distress, educates children in slum ,provides medical treatment for over 6000 HIV +ve men and women every year, manages a 24x7 Childline and rescue operations and regularly saves children and women from abuse.

Ambadas is responsible for coordinating across all the projects of Snehalaya,
monitoring and evaluating them. Having spent 6 years at Snehalaya, he is our
'problem solver' and takes up any role required. He has great enthusiasm to initiate
new projects and takes them to completion. He maintains relationships with funding agencies,
donors and communicates regularly with the various members across the Snehalaya family.

to combating trafficking of persons for the purpose of sexual abuse
and commercial sexual exploitation in Goa. The organization works
both with the victims of commercial sexual exploitation, and also
against those who are perpetrators of this crime.
