 ACTION PLAN OF SAHAAYA

First Visit to G.Singavaram and Niduzuru villages - 11th October 2009
Few volunteers from Nirmaan have made one full day visit to the villages and had talks with the villagers.

The plight of the flood victims in our volunteers words:
I am weeping at the core of my heart all the day, not able to look at the misery and suffering of so many people who lost "everything". - Mayur

After the initial visit, we have revised our plans from providing Rehabilitation to Relief and Rehabilitation considering the grief that is lasting in the villages even two weeks after the havoc.

See the photos taken during the field visit to these villages - here.
Future Actions
1. Identifying Village Heads/Community Leaders who are Impartial
2. Identifying the below povery line households with the help of the identified heads/leaders.
3. Designing a customized solution which suits the family's livelihood within the project's Per-Family Budget.
4. Delivering the solution to the family.
5. Providing textbooks and education kits to students and also other infastructure to the schools.
6. Helping the people to utilize the proposed government help.

We will keep posting our plans and actions and sincerely request your support throughout the voyage.
