We have collaborated with various NGOs, corporates and educational institutions in different areas and have been working along with them to produce a significant impact on the society. Some of our collaborations are mentioned below:

Flagstone Reinsurance

Flagstone Reinsurance Company is supporting the School Adoption Program of Hyderabad chapter. It is associated with one of the schools in Hyderabad and the support it extended covers providing additional classrooms facility, libraries, uniforms etc. The company is also encouraging the students through scholarships to the meritorious students. Flagstone has also funded to help Nirmaan in setting up a platform for providing livelihood opportunities to the needy for which a plan is being charted out.  

Byrraju Foundation

Byrraju Foundation, Hyderabad has trained a group of 20 volunteers of Nirmaan in their two week training program in their corporate office located in Hyderabad in topics like community service, best NGO management practices, fund raising and fund management and also in projects like School Adoption Program and Vocational Trainings. This world class training has helped us in imbibing the best practices adopted by them and also in learning the execution and management of School Adoption Program (SAP) which is one of our key projects now.

Two Cents of Hope- a US based NGO

Two cents of hope, USA (TCH) has been participating in our SAP project in the two Govt schools which we have adopted in Ulsoor, Bangalore by funding a part of the program. Apart from this, Nirmaan has been working closely with TCH for the scholarships project. We have tentatively planned to award scholarships to around 12 merit cum need students this year who are pursuing professional degrees like B.Tech, MBBS, MCA etc.

Accenture, UK

One particular team of Accenture, UK of which our volunteer Dhanunjaya is a part of, has funded Rs 10,000 approximately for SAP project being run in Bangalore Govt schools. This amount is deployed in creating few facilities in Sap and in helping in providing salary for a faculty of WARDS, a special school for disabled children.

Zuari Industries

Zuari Industries, Goa has been participating in our SAP project that is being run in Govt Higher Primary schools, Zuari slums. It has sanctioned a certain amount to create facilities like toilets, water facility etc. in these schools.

BITSAA Alumni Trust 1980

BITSAA Alumni Trust ’80, Kolkata has been associated with Nirmaan from last six months. BITSAA Trust which is committed to participate in the local community development has been working with Nirmaan to identify a place to construct a building where Gyanbodh and Vocational Training programs run by Nirmaan and other community development activities can take place. At present, place is identified and a plan is approved by BITSAA Trust for construction and it is expected to get completed by May, 2009. The Trust has also been funding as well as providing consulting to Nirmaan vocational training programs being run in Pilani and nearby villages.

BITSunami

BITSunami has been our partner since 2006 in conducting India Quiz program, the most prestigious program in APOGEE, the National level academic festival conducted by BITS, Pilani. It has sponsored our last three consecutive India Quiz programs and has been our long term partner in creating a good awareness among people about the past glory of India.

GE Health Care

GE Health Care, Bangalore has been participating in our SAP project that’s being run in Govt Kannada school, Ulsoor, Bangalore by donating the computers to the school.

Azim Premji Foundation

Azim Premji Foundation has supported us in our education projects by providing us with hundred and twenty CDs of educational material prepared in various languages like Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, tamil etc. for Children. We are using this amazing learning material extensively in Govt schools adopted by us as a part of SAP.

WARDS

Since Aug 2007, We have been working with WARDS, Bangalore, a special school for disabled children in funding a part of salary of faculty and in marketing the candles and decorative items prepared by the kids by arranging exhibitions in corporate.

Source Pilani

We have partnered with Source Pilani in training the rural educated in computer skills and English language skills so as to get them recruited in Source Pilani, a Rural BPO located in Pilani.
