2. WARDS

Apart from the above program, we have also adopted a school-cum-rehabilitation center for disabled people called WARDS and have been supporting it in providing teaching staff and also in marketing the products prepared by them. Last year, their products like candles, fancy items, diyas were sold in HCL, Modelytics, GE Health Care and ANZ and the profits generated were used to fund their teachers. This year, we are helping them in marketing their products in various corporates like SunGard, Modelytics, Empower Research on the occassion of Diwali. Another strategy that was implemented to raise funds for WARDS was placing drop-boxes in some restaurants in Bangalore and the monthly donations are being used for meeting basic needs for the students at the center.

3. Scholarship Program

We are working in collaboration with an NGO 'Two Cents of Hope' to provide Merit-cum-Need Scholarships to needy students to complete their 10th, 12th and graduation studies in various disciplines. This project is in nascent stages and will be publishing more details on it soon. Anyone willing to sponsor such students can contact damerla.varun@gmail.com
