Nirmaan Scholarship Program

Vision: The  aim  of  the  program  is  to  monetarily  help  and  guide  the  meritorious,  socially committed/responsible but financially distressed students in pursuing their professional degrees.

Description: The  program  is  aimed  at  monetarily helping  the  meritorious  but  financially  backward students by awarding scholarships every year. The scholarship will be extended to all the  academic  years  while  pursuing  the  degree  based  on  their  performance. Career guidance  will  also  be provided  for  the  beneficiaries  and  thus help  in  building  a  career that  best  suits  him/her.  A mentor will be appointed to each student and he/she will develop a cordial relationship with the beneficiary and guide the beneficiary to build the best career as well as balance his/her personal life.

Application Process:

Eligibility Criteria: The students should get admitted into/ be pursuing graduation degrees like B.E/B.Tech,  MBBS, B.Pharm,  Defense or  any  other  equivalent  degree in  a  reputed university/  institution  (OR) The  students  should  get  admitted  into/  be  pursuing post graduation degrees like M.Sc, M.Com, MCA or any other equivalent courses.

Application procedure: 

1. The candidate must fill the application form Nirmaan_Application_Form      

2. He/She has to send the following documents after clearing the first level of scrutiny:

• 10th marks memo
• 12th marks memo
• Bonafide certificate / Admission card (in case of newly admitted students)
• Latest marks memo
• Income certificate of both the parents (in case of non salaried) / salary slip (if employed)
• Statement of purpose (Explaining the need for application in a single A4 sheet.)
• Recommendation letter from any of the faculty in case of students who are already pursuing their degree
• Recommendation letter from any of the faculty of the previous institution of study for newly admitted students
• Fee receipts and expenditure statement for each year
• Certificates of extra curricular activities

3. Students who wish to renew the scholarship have to fill the Application form again and send the documents a, b, c, d & e

Selection Procedure:   

1. Based on the application and documents submitted and the background verification, the candidates will be short listed and intimated for a telephonic/personal interview.

2. Candidates would be interviewed to know their aspirations and discuss their need for financial support.

3. The final list of candidates will be prepared after a thorough scrutiny of applications through steps 1 and 2 and the list will be put on the website.

Nirmaan Scholarship Program 2009   

Nirmaan Scholarship with its aim of helping meritorious yet financially constrained students has reached end of selection of this year beneficiaries. We would like to thank all the donors for supporting this program.
