The Bangalore Chapter currently has the following projects:-
- School Adoption Program
?The aim of this project is to transform backward rural and urban government schools into Model schools in a span of 3 years so that they are on par with the best run city schools in terms of infrastructure and performance. In lines with this aim, the Bangalore Chapter has adopted 2 schools (i.e. Government Telugu Higher Primary School and Government Kannada Higher Primary School) at Ulsoor. The volunteers conduct classes on spoken English, general knowledge and computer literacy. A number of extra-curricular activities are also conducted to foster personality development of students.
- WARDS
??The Bangalore chapter has also adopted a school-cum-rehabilitation center for disabled people called WARDS. It has been supporting it in providing teaching staff and marketing the products prepared by them. Their products (like candles, diyas and ?fancy items) were sold in HCL, Modelytics, GE Health Care and ANZ. The profits generated were used to fund the teachers at WARDS. They were also assisted in product marketing at various corporates like SunGard, Modelytics and Empower Research. Another strategy that was implemented to raise funds for WARDS was placing drop-boxes in some restaurants in Bangalore. The monthly donations were used for meeting basic needs for the students at the center.
